The people
Mrs. Niki
Mrs. Niki a retired professional dancer/performer started Provo Performing Arts School in January 2015. Niki started teaching classes in order to pass on her love of the theatre to her young daughter, Millie.
Niki taught all of the weekly classes for six years but now spends the majority of her time in the UK with Millie who attends School in Kent. Niki continues to manage PPAS and enjoys teaching workshops, camps and specials when she's on island (which is not enough for her liking!)
Miss. Charlotte
Miss Charlotte was born and raised in West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom and started taking ballet lessons aged three. She quickly caught the bug and growing up she enjoyed performing in local shows and pantomimes, adding acting and singing lessons to her rapidly growing list of dance classes.
After completing her educational studies, aged eighteen she went on to train for three years at Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge. There she was twice awarded the principal’s vocal scholarship, and graduated in 2011 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Charlotte has also graduated from Guildford School of Acting with a First Class Honors Degree in Theatre Studies. More recently Charlotte qualified as a teacher with the International Dance Teacher’s Association (ISTD)
Charlotte has been fortunate enough to enjoy many incredible performance opportunities, her highlight was performing at the 2012 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony!
Charlotte has been teaching at PPAS since July 2022.
