We have just completed an absolute corker of an Easter Camp which finished with a fantastic performance at Brayton Hall. Anna Jane Casey & Anne Marie Martin, both professional performers from London taught the 6 day course and starred in the show. The show entitled “London Calling” was specially written for us by Anna Jane Casey and was a musical journey through London with an explanation in Cockney Rhyming Slang! Students learnt Musical Theatre numbers from ‘Half a Sixpence”, “Me & my Girl”, “Spiceworld” and the pop group “Madness”, as well as streetdance choreography to Lilly Allen, The Clash & Bruno Mars. The audience was also treated to a magnificent acoustic version of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain”, performed vocally and on the ukulele by Anna Jane with a dance accompaniment by Anne Marie.
