DRAMA

PRINCESS ALEXANDRA ISN’T VERY HAPPY
A spoof on traditional fairy tales written for performers aged 11 to 16. Thematically it addresses traditional gender roles, loyalty, status/class, as well as exploiting and exploding fairy tale archetypes.
THERE WILL BE AN INFORMAL SHOWING OF THE SCRIPT AT THE END OF TERM.
HIP HOP
All of our classes start with a warm up stretch, followed by choreography. This terms planned choreography is:

BOLLYWOOD
All of our classes start and finish with a yoga inspired warm up / cool down and stretch followed by choreography. This terms planned choreography is:

All of our classes start with a breathing and vocal warm up, followed up with the study of choir and or classical musical pieces. This terms chosen music will be decided based on students individual abilities.

Adult’s Classes
LINDY HOP
All of our classes start with a warm up which introduces and practices steps and phrases, followed by choreography. The Lindy hop is an American dance which was born in Harlem, New York City in 1928 and has evolved since then with the jazz music of that time. It was very popular during the Swing era of the late 1930s and early 1940s. Lindy was a fusion of many dances that preceded it or were popular during its development but is mainly based on jazz, tap, breakaway, and Charleston. It performed in couples, but don’t worry if you don’t have a partner – we’ll pair you up with someone from the class!

STRETCH DANCE & MOVE!
The class will encompass Yoga, Pilates, Ballet, Release Dance Technique & Horton Dance Technique to get you feeling an inch taller, get you moving and get you dancing in a fun, non-competitive environment. This is a gentle class aimed at those wanting a class with no impact.
